A well-established, purpose-built veterinary practice in Rayleigh is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its supportive and close-knit team. This practice is committed to clinical excellence, career development, and providing a positive work-life balance.
The Team:
The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced Clinical Director, two other vets (including one with a dermatology certificate), four Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), two student nurses, three Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs), and a dedicated client care team. The practice fosters an inclusive and welcoming environment, ensuring that all team members feel valued and supported, regardless of background or circumstances.
The Role:
- This is a full-time position, but flexible and part-time working arrangements can be considered.
- Weekends are on a fair 1:4 rota with no on-call, out-of-hours, or bank holiday responsibilities.
- Confidence in routine surgical and medical cases, as well as sole charge, is required.
- The practice strongly supports career progression and professional growth.
