Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Port St. Lucie FL

We are looking for a motivated Orthopedically trained Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our practice full time at our offices in Port St. Lucie and Palm City, FL. We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who enjoys providing high-quality comprehensive patient care to join our team in the beautiful Port St. Lucie Area with plenty of shopping and outdoor activities year-round. We have 2 offices, and the incoming provider will be splitting coverage between both locations.

We are looking for a compassionate, yet driven Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide orthopedic exams and care, helping patients improve their functioning and mobility and improve their quality of life, while working alongside our Primary care providers. Duties include caring for those suffering from joint pain/injuries and conditions and the incoming PA/NP will be providing orthopedic/musculoskeletal care. The incoming provider must have orthopedic/pain management experience and joint injection/trigger point injection experience. Experience with regen medicine and functional medicine a plus.

Duties:
  • Patient Consultation-Ortho/MSK focused- review health and medical histories, exam patients, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and reason for visit
  • Consult with referring Physicians/Healthcare team regarding diagnosis as needed
  • Develop and implement treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs
  • Educate patients on diagnosis, potential treatment options, lifestyle changes, and rehab/modalities
  • Treatments to include joint and trigger point injections
  • Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, and chart patient s progress
  • Collaboration with the other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
  • Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients
  • Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude

Requirements:
  • Graduation from an Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
  • PA/NP License in FL
  • Joint injection and trigger point injection experience required
  • Orthopedic clinical experience required

Schedule:
  • Full time
Compensation (range):
  • up to $130k+ per year (DOE)
