A skilled Family Practice Physician Assistant is sought for an 80-day locum tenens assignment at a clinic in Washington state. Starting on 12/01/2025, this opportunity offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, 8 hours per day from 8 am to 5 pm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a variety of primary care cases, including cold, cough, flu, hypertension, diabetes, COPD, and other common conditions. The role involves 20-minute clinic appointments with a mix of complex chronic and low acuity cases. Proficiency with Athenahealth EMR is preferred. This position offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:


• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages


• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions


• Manage patient care for cold, cough, flu, hypertension, diabetes, COPD, and other primary care cases


• Conduct 20-minute clinic appointments efficiently and effectively


• Handle a mix of complex chronic and low acuity cases


• Utilize Athenahealth EMR system for patient documentation


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care


• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures


• Maintain up-to-date medical knowledge and skills
