This would include 8 onsite hours and then first call" Weekend schedule- Friday 7p to Monday 7a - ongoing needs of at least two weekends a month up to one week as needed in rotation with our existing staff. LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT:Ongoing TARGET START DATE:ASAP Must be full scope practitioner including the ability to work in the OR, rounding and ICU Conduct patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests. First or second assist in cardiothoracic surgeries, such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repairs/replacements, and lung resections. Perform tasks like harvesting saphenous veins for bypass grafts, suturing, and maintaining a sterile field. Operate surgical instruments and devices under the supervision of the surgeon. Participate in daily rounds with the surgical team, providing updates on patient status. Date Posted: 04 April 2025
