Join our healthcare client as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Springfield, TN. This in-office role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic conditions. You'll conduct thorough physical exams, prescribe treatment plans, coordinate ongoing care, and collaborate with physicians and specialists in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities as the Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant:
  • Clinical Care: Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions through comprehensive assessments and physical exams.
  • Treatment & Prescribing: Prescribe medications, order tests, and implement treatment plans based on clinical guidelines.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians and specialists to ensure seamless care and appropriate referrals.
  • Patient Education: Counsel patients on diagnoses, treatment options, preventative care, and medication adherence.
  • Practice Support: Maintain clinical documentation, support patient flow, and assist with office operations and protocol development.
Qualifications for the Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant:
  • Education: Master s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required.
  • Licensure: Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Tennessee, with current DEA registration.
  • Certification: National board certification required (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
  • Experience: 2+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a primary care, urgent care, or internal medicine setting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in EMR systems with extensive experience using Athena preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
