Conduct comprehensive health assessments and diagnose acute and chronic illnesses. Develop and implement patient treatment plans and monitor outcomes.
Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary, in accordance with state regulations and practice guidelines.
Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, and joint injections.
Educate patients and families on preventive care, wellness, and health maintenance.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
