Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Adelphi is looking to recruit a temporary Family Nurse Practitioner to work in a medical instition of higher learning in Charleston, South Carolina. The FNP will primary care for university students and should have experience working with young adults.

Requirements:

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse

• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the South Carolina Board of Nursing.

• Prefer FNP with young adult to adult experience

NPI Responsibilities:

• Provides advanced nursing care in the treatment of acute, episodic, chronic, and psychiatric illnesses and disorders

• Perform advanced care to patients under access to a physician.

• Work under supervision providing diagnosis and treatment according to protocol

NPII Responsibilities:

• Provides advanced nursing care in the treatment of acute, episodic, chronic, and psychiatric illnesses and disorders.

• Perform advanced care to patients under limited access to a physician or works in an environment where physician availability is typically limited.

• Works independently with minimal supervision providing diagnosis and treatment according to protocol
