Location: Southeast Alaska
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Compensation: Hourly Rate
Date Range: June 1st, 2025 January 15th, 2026 (potential to extend; assignment may be split between 2-3 providers, 8 week minimum commitment required)
Key Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Compensation Breakdown:
- $102.00 hourly rate (40 hrs/week)
- 2 paid travel days, 1 arrival, 1 departure (8 hours/day paid at the hourly rate)
Responsibilities:
- Same-Day, Walk-In Clinic Patient Volume: Averages 8-10 per day
- No Call and No Weekends.
Position Requirements:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with the State of Alaska
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
- Active BLA, ACLS
- Active DEA registration
- COVID vaccination
- Minimum 2 years' experience in primary and urgent care
- Experience working in primary care with all ages
- Experience in general gynecology
- Experience with simple procedures (suturing, I&D)
- Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
