JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking a full time OBGYN or FM/OB faculty member for their unopposed residency program. The successful candidate will provide full-service obstetrical and operative/non-operative gynecological services and will work alongside other faculty to help train medical students and residents. Qualified applicants should be board certified and have experience as a physician, leader, and educator. The Family Practice Residency is an evidence-based teaching program that has a balanced curriculum including medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, geriatrics and emergency medicine. Our program's 5-year average score for the ABFM Board Exam is in the top 1% nationally. The outpatient clinic setting offers full spectrum family medicine. In addition to providing routine and preventative OBGYN services, in-office gynecological procedures include colposcopy, LEEP, IUD, and Nexplanon. The clinic sees approximately 150 patients per day with both scheduled and walk-in patients.
