Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Position Overview
An established outpatient primary care clinic in Vermont is seeking an experienced Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to provide full-time locum tenens coverage. This is an adult-only, outpatient-focused practice with no in-person call-only occasional telephone call rotation. Preference will be given to providers with active Vermont licensure and/or prior experience working within integrated health systems. Assignment Highlights
•   HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission-certified agency
•   Outpatient-only, adult-focused family medicine clinic
•   No call duties (occasional telephone call rotation only)
•   Patient volume: 18-20 patients per day
•   Schedule: Monday-Friday, with one non-clinical day assigned
•   Well-supported by RN, LPN, and MA teams
•   Team-based environment with physicians and APPs (APPs do not require supervision)
•   Epic EMR system
•   Prepaid travel and lodging
•   Malpractice insurance provided Skills & Experience
•   Board Status: Board Certified (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine)
•   License: Active VT medical license preferred
•   Certifications: BLS required (ACLS, PALS not required)
•   Procedures: None required or preferred
•   Cultural Expectations: High level of cultural competency and compassion required
