About the clinician's workday
This position offers two scheduling options: MondayThursday with four 10-hour shifts, or MondayFriday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a preference for five-day coverage. If choosing the 4x10s schedule, coverage on Mondays and Fridays is required, as Friday is the busiest day. The daily caseload averages 810 adult male patients in a minimum to medium security correctional setting. Candidates must be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and hold active BLS, WA license, DEA, and COVID vaccination. The role includes managing injuries, acute illnesses, follow-ups, physicals, chronic care, urgent care, and minor procedures. Psych experience and comfort with sutures and injections are preferred but not required. The provider will work alongside an MD and a supportive team of 4 MAs and 4 APPs. Credentialing typically takes 12 weeks. Urgent care experience is also preferred but not mandatory.
