LHH is looking for a meticulous and organized Litigation Paralegal to join our litigation and family law team in Palm Coast, FL. This contract-to-hire role presents a valuable opportunity to contribute to significant legal work while assisting attorneys with all aspects of case management, including legal research, document preparation, and trial preparation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Research & Writing: Perform comprehensive legal research and assist in drafting memos, briefs, pleadings, and correspondence under the guidance of attorneys.

  • Document Management: Organize, maintain, and update case files and legal documents in accordance with confidentiality and ethical standards.

  • Case Preparation: Provide support for trial preparation, hearings, and client meetings, including logistics management, scheduling, and document preparation.

  • Client Interaction: Act as a liaison between clients, attorneys, and external parties, ensuring effective communication and gathering necessary documentation.

  • Administrative Support: Help manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and assist with other administrative tasks in collaboration with a Legal Assistant.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate s degree required (Paralegal Certificate or relevant experience may be considered). A Bachelor s degree is preferred.

  • Experience: 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or legal department. Litigation and family law experience is a plus.

  • Skills: Strong legal research and writing skills.

    • Proficient in legal research databases and case management software.

    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Other Requirements: Knowledge of court procedures, legal terminology, and a commitment to maintaining high ethical and professional standards.

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
