We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney with a valid California license to join our growing firm in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in family law with courtroom confidence and a passion for helping their clients in the most ethical will.
Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive legal counsel on a wide array of family law matters such as divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.
- Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, advocating for their rights and best interests.
- Preparing and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to stay abreast of current trends and developments in family law.
- Collaborating with a team of legal professionals to strategize and develop effective case strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
- Providing guidance and advice to clients on probate law matters, including estate planning, wills, and trusts.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A valid license to practice law in the state of California.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in family law.
- Experience with probate law would be a plus.
- Proven courtroom experience (law and motion; does not need to be trial experience)
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain a strong attorney-client relationship.
