Automotive Service Advisor - Experienced Position Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused
Service Advisor to join our Ford dealership team. The Service Advisor serves as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, helping to assess vehicle needs, recommend services, and ensure an outstanding customer experience from drop-off to delivery.

Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner on arrival.
- Clearly explain vehicle concerns and recommended maintenance or repairs.
- Prepare and review repair orders and obtain proper authorizations.
- Communicate with technicians to determine service needs and timelines.
- Provide accurate estimates of costs and completion times to customers.
- Keep customers informed of vehicle status during service.
- Coordinate transportation options, such as shuttle or loaner vehicles.
- Conduct active delivery by reviewing work performed and answering customer questions.
- Promote dealership services and maintenance programs.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Follow dealership and manufacturer guidelines for warranty and recall procedures.
- Ensure high levels of CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) performance.

- Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk for long periods during the workday.

- Driving Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Work Environment:
- Fast-paced service drive and office environment.
- Occasional exposure to noise, vehicle exhaust, and outdoor elements.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or technical degree preferred.
- Prior automotive service advisor or customer service experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of vehicle systems, service writing, and warranty processes.
- Strong communication, sales, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Experience with dealership management software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) is a plus.
