Faculty Critical Care Anesthesiologist

The Division of Critical Care Medicine within the Department of Anesthesiology focuses on the care of the perioperative patient, optimizing them for surgery or managing their post-surgical needs.
Opportunity Highlights
Join Northwestern Memorial's dynamic medical center, excelling in high-acuity cardiothoracic and transplant surgeries
Provide round-the-clock care to the most critically ill patients
Guaranteed ICU coverage at least 8 weeks per year, up to 26 weeks annually
Work in a multidisciplinary fashion, together with surgeons, nurses, pharmacists, physical/occupational therapists, and social workers, caring for patients when they are most vulnerable
Receive strong mentoring from senior attendings dedicated to supporting new team members
Work alongside 7 to 8 expert cardiac surgeons, each excelling in their unique surgical specialties
Enjoy a teaching and service partnership with Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine
