Department Information
The Department of Accounting and Law includes both undergraduate and graduate level Accounting degree programs, as well as undergraduate and graduate certificates in Compliance & Ethics. The Mike Cottrell College of Business (MCCB) is an AACSB accredited business school with over 4,800 students across five campuses. The College includes the Institute for Cyber Operations, Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and the Truist Center for Ethical Leadership. In addition to the B.B.A., the college offers undergraduate degrees in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and Technology Management, and two associate degrees. Graduate programs include the Cottrell M.B.A., Master of Accountancy, Master of Science in Computer Science, and four graduate certificates. The international group of teacher-scholars provides an exceptional learning community to prepare students for their professional roles and to engage with business and industry in the region to foster economic development.
Job Summary
The Department of Accounting & Law in the MCCB at the University of North Georgia (UNG) is invites applicants for the position of part-time faculty in Compliance & Ethics. Teaching could include any of the courses in our Compliance & Ethics Certificates, at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
Responsibilities
- The part-time faculty member will be responsible for teaching compliance and ethics courses in any of the following locations: Dahlonega, Gainesville, or UNG Online.
- There may be opportunities for both day and/or evening classes.
- Use innovative teaching and learning techniques to provide high quality learning experiences for our students.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in a subject area related to compliance and ethics.
- Substantive and significant experience in the field of compliance and ethics is required.
