About the Role
One of our clients is seeking an experienced and dynamic QA Manager to lead Quality Assurance team at production facility in St. George, Utah. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in quality systems, sanitation programs, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership experience, ideally at a Manager level, with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams
- Strong understanding of facility operations, quality systems, HAACP, FSMA, and sanitation best practices
- Technically proficient and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Collaborative communicator who can influence across all levels of the organization
- High ethical standards, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset
- Must be able to work independently and handle complexity with confidence
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Biological Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance in the food or beverage industry.
- At least 1 year of experience at a managerial level.
- Certifications such as PCQI, HACCP, or SQF Practitioner are preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and quality/production management systems.
