Duties Serves as a property manager to resolve reported building maintenance issues/problems and performs daily inspections of the grounds to identify deficiencies in assigned maintenance systems. Establishes technical requirements, develops Statement(s) of work and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) for alterations projects, maintenance, customer requests and repair projects. Develops contract requirements pertaining to maintenance, repair, and operation of facilities and alteration projects. Prepares and negotiates of change orders, preparation, coordination and approval of schedules, work progress reporting, and inspection and review of contractor's performance. Serves as a liaison with building tenants, private contractors, and local state and/or federal organizations to resolve problems, provides advice on maintenance, construction, and related buildings and grounds management activities. Prepares a variety of reports involving management and executive planning, coordinating and evaluating logistical actions required to support specific mission and other programs for cost analysis, procurement and budget execution and contracting. Performing maintenance or construction work including estimating material and labor costs for a variety of construction or maintenance project. Developing and implement safety protocols, emergency response actions, security procedures, and environmental management compliance in risk management, safety and security. Physical Demands: Assignments regularly involve long periods of standing, walking, bending, and stooping to observe and study work operations in an industrial, storage, or comparable work area.
