Technical Source is actively seeking a Facilities Technician to support a pharmaceutical manufacturing site on a long-term contract opportunity in Westchester County, NY.
Schedule: This role operates on 3rd shift (10 PM - 6 AM, Thursday night to Tuesday morning)
We are looking for candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude, facilities experience, and an understanding of refrigeration cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor site performance, alarms, and critical systems, including HVAC, power, UPS systems, energy generators, and mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Assess system trends, investigate abnormalities, and coordinate corrective actions as needed.
- Support equipment repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Serve as a first responder for facility-related issues and emergencies.
- Communicate external conditions to key stakeholders and escalate concerns as necessary.
- Utilize MS Office to track data, log reports, and communicate system performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role with hands-on experience in HVAC and refrigeration cycles.
- Working knowledge of MEP systems and general mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly to operational challenges.
- Moderate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

- Candidates do not need prior pharmaceutical or biotech experience.
