The Facilities Technician I is responsible for performing all necessary tasks associated with the maintenance of the utilities and equipment used to develop and manufacture quality products and services to support these activities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
- Perform all related tasks associated with daily checklists and inspections of utility spaces and equipment
- Perform monitoring, ordering, and replacement of compressed gas cylinders such as oxygen andCO2
- Perform scheduled maintenance of equipment and utility systems with guidance from the Facilities Manager and Sr. Facilities Technicians
- Coordinate corrective and preventative maintenance activities with owning departments
- Work with an electronic maintenance management system to document work activities, as necessary
- Point of contact with contractors and outside service providers performing preventative onsite preventative and corrective maintenance
SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
- High school diploma or Equivalent
SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Mechanical aptituderequired
- Positive attitude, service oriented, and willingness / ability to perform tasks deemed essential
- Attention to detail and an ability to see jobs through to completion
- Relevant trade skills such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC a plus
- Proven experience operating and maintaining building support functions is a plus
