We are seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Manager, to lead the charge in cultivating a zero-injury culture within the expansive 1-million-square-foot San Antonio production facility, where class 6-8 and EV commercial trucks are manufactured. You will be tasked with creating, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge safety policies and programs, your goal is to position the site as an industry leader in safety compliance and performance. Supporting a workforce of approximately 1,000 employees operating across multiple shifts, you will ensure operational excellence while maintaining full compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
Your role demands close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Maintenance and Engineering to ensure safety and ergonomic standards are met. You will closely with the Plant Director and other leaders to integrate safety into every facet of the operation. Overseeing a small team, including a Safety Specialist and Environmental staff, you will also mentor and inspire employees to embrace a "safety-first" mindset.
The qualified candidate will have a bachelor's degree, at least 10 years of facilities or administration and 4 years of management experience. Relocation assistance is available to the qualified candidate.
