Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Plan and execute repairs, renovations, and property upgrades that maintain our reputation for exceptional quality.
- Lead facility improvement initiatives-upgrading equipment, resolving recurring challenges, and enhancing infrastructure-with precision and a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
- Oversee advanced security systems, including surveillance and access control, to safeguard our properties.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, allocate resources effectively, and ensure clear communication of updates and milestones to all stakeholders.
- Cultivate strong vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with service providers, including security firms, contractors, and maintenance teams.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to prepare and manage facility budgets while driving cost-efficient solutions and contributing to annual planning for our portfolio of assets.
- Create regular reports on operational performance and project progress for leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A 3-5 year proven track record in facilities management, property management, or a related field.
- Expertise in spearheading impactful capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, including resource planning and budget management.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite and project planning tools such as Smartsheet, Monday, Gantt Charts, etc.
- A deep understanding of building systems, safety protocols, and security best practices.
- Exceptional budget management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities, fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
- Preference for a candidate in the Chicago, IL or Cleveland, OH areas, but open to candidates in other locations
