Maintenance Supervisor Position Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the maintenance team in ensuring the efficient operation, upkeep, and repair of all production equipment, machinery, and facility systems. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, maintaining safety standards, and supporting production goals through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement efforts. Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager or Plant Manager. Benefits & Perks:

Essential Functions - Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of work orders, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Oversee maintenance of production equipment, machinery, tools, and facility infrastructure.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to reduce unplanned downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Reviews completed work orders, match PM actions to improve MTBF.
  • Identifies work that needs to be performed and develops the method(s) on how work gets done.
  • Plans, schedules, coordinates maintenance activities, prepares kits for repairs and projects.
  • Set priorities on work, by evaluating needed skills vs. Technician / craft availability and estimate hours and material costs on work order prior to issue.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment failures.
  • Ensure the team follows safety protocols and OSHA regulations, promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Train, mentor, and coach maintenance staff on equipment knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and maintenance best practices.
  • Monitor and track maintenance work orders through the CMMS for accuracy, completion, and quality of work performed by holding Technicians accountable.
  • Maintain inventory of critical spare parts to support efficient repairs and minimize downtime.
  • Mange the Tool crib inventory and distribution.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support production goals and continuous improvement projects.
  • Participate in capital improvement projects, including new equipment installations and relocations.
  • Support equipment upgrades and process improvements to increase safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Provide input on annual budget planning for maintenance operations, equipment needs, and facility upgrades.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, systems, and maintenance best practices.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and maintenance planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with saws and vinyl welding equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support production.
Work Environment
  • Must be able to walk and remain on feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate PPE
