I have an immediate opportunity for a Cell & Gene Therapy Biotech client.
This role is essentially a Facilities Technician or Engineer, but its 70% desk and 30% working with vendors/service providers. We would like someone who has enough mechanical knowledge to understand what the vendor is doing. Must have experience in a GMP environment.
We are seeking prior experience with utility systems and facilities maintenance (HVAC, chillers, boilers, BAS, room differential pressures, electrical, plumbing).
This will be Monday - Friday onsite during normal business hours. (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week). This is a contract role and will pay hourly, up to $60/hr depending on experience level. The position will pay 1.5x should you work OT.
The role:
Responsible for supporting operations by ensuring that the building, utilities and manufacturing equipment are properly maintained to support GMP manufacturing and general facility operations.
Oversee the utility and building maintenance program, including preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Some maintenance activities will be performed in a clean room:
- Supervise the activities of 3rd party service providers.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated oversight, knowledge and expertise with overseeing HVAC maintenance programs.
Expert in GMP requirements on facility, utility (mechanical, HVAC, electrical, gases) and/or manufacturing equipment
High energy, confident, gets things done, yet easy going personality
