Facilities Maintenance Person

is seeking a full-time facilities maintenance person for
our two buildings. The primary function of facilities maintenance is to provide a safe, well-maintained and clean working environment for staff and customers alike, both inside and outside of the buildings.

Applicants must have general carpentry, plumbing, and electrical experience. Applicants must also be flexible with their schedule and live withing 30 minutes of Claremont, NH.

Workdays and hours are Monday - Friday, 6:30AM - 2:30PM. Occasional weekend hours may be necessary.

Primary Duties:

• Help with the upkeep of equipment and property structures
• Oversee buildings and equipment to ensure proper health and safety standards
• Monitor any of the building's equipment such as heating and cooling systems, plumbing systems, or electrical systems and inform manager of any problems.
• Perform general aesthetic upkeep which can include painting, basic carpentry, or landscaping
• Perform daily tasks of unlocking doors in the AM, handling trash in and out of the building, and maintaining the drive lane floor.
• Assisting shop with tire transportation and clean up.
• Pumping waste oil at shop as needed.
• Cleaning bathrooms during the day as needed
• Changing air handler filters as needed
• Address and repair as needed small plumbing and carpentry issues
• Help with moving needs of the facility, including the assembly and moving of furniture and office equipment.
• Assist with snow and ice removal in the winter as needed.
• Other maintenance and janitorial duties as directed by the General Manager

Qualifications - Facilities Maintenance Person:

• General carpentry, plumbing, and electrical experience is necessary.
• Knowledge of snow removal equipment such as plows and loaders is critical.
• Must live within 30 minutes of Claremont, NH
• Must have a flexible schedule
• A good work ethic
• Valid driver's license
