PTS Staffing is seeking a seasoned Facilities Coordinator to ensure the seamless operation, maintenance, and safety of our workplace. This position calls for a proactive, hands-on professional with deep experience in facilities management, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance. You'll play a key role in creating a safe, functional, and efficient environment that aligns with our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the facility, including maintenance, janitorial, security, and space planning
- Coordinate and supervise third-party vendors and service providers
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety and code compliance
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Monitor and report on facilities budgets, spending, and performance metrics
- Lead or support special projects such as renovations or office moves
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, inspections, and compliance
- Act as the main contact for facility emergencies and after-hours issues
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in facilities coordination, property management, or building operations
- Strong track record managing vendor relationships and service agreements
- Solid understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Certifications in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing preferred but not required
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and workplace safety best practices
- Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
