Summary/Objective
The Facilities Assistant will contribute to the overall success of operational standards set forth by the Beloit Sky Carp. In addition, this person will work with the Vice President of Operations, and other relevant members of the stadium operations staff, to implement first class experiences for fans, players, events and corporate sponsors.
Essential Functions
1. Support and model organizational standards of behavior for the Studer Family of Companies (SFOC)
2. Support and execute standards of operation of Beloit Sky Carp
3. Commit to organizational mission, vision and core values of the SFOC
4. Maintain world-class customer service standards through proper training, coaching and communications for all entities within the SFOC
5. Responsible for the maintenance of all equipment throughout the facility to help insure proper and safe operation of the facility on a daily basis
6. Execute in-stadium operations including cleaning, upkeep, and general maintenance to ensure facility is in the best possible condition for every event held on the premises.
7. Model organizational behavior and leadership for trainee(s)
8. Organize and manage service contracts the facility has with outside vendors on routine maintenance and preventative maintenance upkeep of the facility to ensure compliance with terms of contract
9. Responsible for assigned housekeeping and general maintenance of the facility
10. Responsible for OSHA compliance of systems and resources for facility
11. Attend company meetings and provide input regarding all facilities-related issues
12. Monitor in-stadium signage: ensure all signs are hanging properly, all flags are flying properly and not ripped or caught on barriers
13. Perform routine security checks of all suites, restrooms, and press box
14. Other duties as assigned by management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals.
2. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
3. Technically proficient with Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Office365.
4. Ability to lead teams toward organizational directives and goals.
5. Effectively manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines with quality results.
6. Use critical thinking skills to resolve any real-time issues that arise.
7. Strong time-management, organizational and negotiating skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment evenings, weekends and holidays.
9. Regular attendance at company events.
10. High level of integrity.
11. Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a regular, part-time, nonexempt position. Days and hours will vary to include evening and weekend work according to business needs.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The key physical requirements of this position includes the ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time, work in hot and cold environments, lift 50+ pounds, and the use of retail and office equipment including computers.
