POSITION SUMMARY


The Facilities & Warehouse Manager is responsible for the management of key functions of SDAR warehouse and facility operations. Under the direction of the of the CEO, this position will conduct these responsibilities through physical maintenance, repair, and renovation of physical office environments. The Facilities & Warehouse Manager verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties. This position also maintains inventory and organization of warehouse and storage facilities with occasional courier service to SDAR service centers and other locations as directed.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

Facilities Management

Oversee the maintenance, repair and improvement of buildings, grounds and infrastructure including requesting multiple quotes from vendors when work is outsourced

Perform routine and minor facilities maintenance

For rental units, manage all communication with tenants

For rental units, manage the transition from prior tenants to new tenants including preparing the units

Opening or closing service centers including stocking or returning and cataloging inventory and assets to the primary facility, turning on or turning off all services and preparing or restoring the facility to begin or close out lease


Vendor Management

Manage relationships with contractors, vendors and service providers for inventory, maintenance repairs and projects Vendors include, but not limited to landscaping, janitorial and security services.

Warehouse

Record quantities received against purchase orders. Unpack and examine incoming shipments, communicate damaged items and shortages to vendor

Manage product inventory and order replacement products based on economic order quantity and lead time

Maintain inventory of shipping materials, supplies and stock for the association


Offsite Storage

Conducts offsite storage maintenance including the ability to store and retrieve items kept at rental facility

Conducts record storage and maintenance with the ability to retrieve items as needed

Events & Classes

Support internal & external event set-up and breakdown

Maintain a schedule of set up needs and direct staff in setting up SDAR training rooms for class training, BOD meetings and outside group rental

Load, unload and use association vehicle to support offsite events

Other

Occasional local travel

Other duties as needed

Yes. This position will manage the Facilities and Warehouse Coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Minimum of a High School Diploma with 1-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of retail, warehouse and customer service experience

Bachelor's degree preferred

A valid California driver's license and a clean driving record are required

1-3 Years Management experience preferred

Positive attitude, willing to help others, enthusiastic about position

Ability to provide excellent customer service and follow through

Ability to perform detail-oriented work with tight deadlines and competing priorities

Ability to work in a team environment

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000/year
