Our client is seeking a Fab Operator to join their team. As a Fab Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of electronic components to a given schedule using a range of equipment and processes in a cleanroom environment.


This position is shift-based with multiple positions across 1st or 2nd shift, Monday through Friday.

1st Shift hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. 2nd shift hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Preferable).


Responsibilities:

  • Processing of material to the required quality standards and standard operating procedures.
  • Preparation of materials and tooling to applied standards.
  • Undertake periodic quality checks on equipment and processes, as specified.
  • Gathering and recording of data.
  • Carry out a visual inspection of the product according to the device-specific criteria.
  • Identify non-compliant material or abnormal events, taking appropriate action as detailed in applied specifications.
  • Contribute to improvement activities and participate in working groups.
  • Achieve production targets by undertaking tasks according to specified plans and priorities using local decision-making to account for material and equipment availability.
  • Interface with maintenance and engineering staff regularly throughout a shift.
  • Comply with Environmental Health and Safety regulations within the working environment.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, wearing the necessary cleanroom attire.
  • Ability to work strictly to quality standards and specifications.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, working with small parts.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Google Docs and Google Sheets, and standard data entry systems.
  • Able to work occasional overtime, as needed.

Required Years of Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent.
