Fab Shop Safety Coordinator

We are currently seeking to a Safety Coordinator to our fab shop in Brookshire, TX.

Fab Shop Safety Coordinator Duties

• Shop Inspections

• PPE Ordering

• Safety Meetings (Toolbox Talks)

• New Hire Orientations

• Management of HSI online learning

• Bi-weekly meetings with Safety Committee

• Prepare and Schedule training for workplace safety. (Forklift)

• Monitor compliance with Safety Protocols.

• Injury / Near miss investigations

• Safety Corrective Actions

• Assist with Quarterly Lunches

• Assist with Annual Boot program

• SDS Management (QR Codes)

• Kick off Meetings for jobs

• Visitor Safety Briefings

• PPE inspections

• Hydration Program

Required Skills/ Abilities:

• Knowledge of Safety regulations and policies

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Proficient in technology and equipment used in inspections.

• Flexible work hours to interact with night shift.

Bilingual a must.
