Our Lamar office is looking for an enthusiastic Account Executive to bring innovative outdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in Buffalo, NY and the surrounding areas.
The Sales Account Executive is responsible for achieving and surpassing sales goals by promoting and selling outdoor advertising to qualified clients. You will utilize your professional sales skills to build and nurture long-lasting relationships that drive sales growth for Lamar Advertising.
What We Offer: - Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm with paid holidays
- Compensation: First-year earning potential of $60,000 - $65,000 depending on your experience

What We're Looking For: - Ability to cold call and engage businesses both over the phone and in person
- Strong oral presentation skills to communicate information effectively
- Proficient interpersonal skills to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with personal computers, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Adaptability to new technology and tools
- Ability to articulate the outdoor advertising business to clients
- Skilled in writing professional business correspondence
- Capability to work effectively under varying workloads
- Sales experience, particularly in outdoor notifications
- Proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Track record of meeting sales quotas
Education and Experience Requirements: - High School Diploma or Equivalent; College Degree preferred
- Two years of media sales experience required
- Outdoor Advertising sales experience preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- CRM experience preferred

- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and track your personal sales data
- Identify and engage potential clients to grow Lamar's market presence
- Utilize Lamar's tools to follow up on leads and prepare proposals
- Deliver engaging presentations to clients
- Maintain organized records and client profiles
- Participate in meetings, seminars, and trade shows
Work Environment: - Combination of office and fieldwork with minimal overnight travel
- Physical demands include light lifting, walking, and prolonged periods of sitting
