The SDSU Extension office in Aberdeen is looking for a temporary Senior Secretary to assist for a one-month duration during the weeks for April 3 - 9, 2024 and April 23 - 30, 2024. If you are passionate about helping others and providing people-centered customer service, this could be the role for you.

Job Responsibilities: To provide administrative support to the Extension Regional Center and the large number of staff located there. This position will also proctor commercial applicator testing.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of:

• Customer service practices;
• Office equipment and
• Computer software and systems (MS Word, Outlook, etc).

Skill & Ability to:

• Organize and multitask;
• Problem solve;
• Provide verbal instructions for the testing protocols;
• Teach others how to utilize the computer system to take the exam and
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
