Position: Export Operator - European Road & Sea Freight

Are you an experienced Export Operator with a passion for European and Sea Freight logistics? We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual to join a well-established, family-run logistics company based in Southampton-a business known for its personal approach, long-standing client relationships, and unwavering commitment to service excellence.
You'll play a key role in managing European road and sea freight export shipments while handling customs entries for both via CDS. It's a hands-on role where your expertise will be valued, your ideas heard, and your growth supported.
Key role & Responsibilities
- Managing export shipments across European road and sea freight
- Completing CDS customs entries accurately and efficiently
- Liaising with clients, shipping lines, and customs authorities
- Coordinating transport, documentation, and end-to-end shipment tracking
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience in export operations, ideally with both road and sea freight
- Strong understanding of customs clearance and the CDS platform
- Great communication skills and a can-do attitude
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
