Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, nonprofits, and individuals
  • Assist in tax projections and quarterly estimated tax calculations
  • Conduct basic tax research and assist with related planning matters
  • Support senior staff and leadership with data gathering and workpaper preparation
  • Identify potential tax savings and compliance issues
  • Communicate with clients to gather relevant tax documentation
  • Stay updated on evolving tax laws and regulations
  • Mentor junior team members if senior level
  • Contribute to team learning and continuous improvement
  • Embrace small team collaboration and growth vision

You should have most of the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 0-5 years of relevant tax preparation experience
  • CPA license, active candidacy, or intent to pursue preferred
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local tax return preparation
  • Ability to conduct tax research and apply findings
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and tax preparation software
  • Desire to work in a small, rebuilding team environment
