We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our specialist Recruitment and Workforce Solutions team. The team has significant expertise in all areas of recruitment law, working with employers and recruiters of all sizes, and handling director disputes, exit strategies, settlement agreements, employment contracts, and service agreements.

The team also advises on redundancies and reorganisations, TUPE, outsourcing, employment tribunal claims, data protection issues, complex discrimination cases, post-termination obligations, IR35, and general recruitment issues arising from the use and supply of temporary workers and contractors.

In this role, you will specialise in delivering comprehensive legal services to a diverse range of businesses within the recruitment sector. We are ideally looking for a Solicitor with experience in this sector; however, we will consider applications from experienced employment solicitors with a strong interest in this field and a desire to specialise.

  • Experience providing legal services to businesses in the Recruitment & Workforce Solutions sector, including employment agencies, employment businesses, umbrella companies, professional employment organisations, master and neutral vendors.
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve legal queries and disputes.
  • Public speaking experience to diverse audiences.
  • Advising clients on contentious and non-contentious legal issues within the sector.
  • Managing Employment Tribunal litigation and resolving employment disputes through ACAS, mediation, and negotiations.
  • Handling sector regulatory investigations on behalf of clients.
  • Advising on employment status, IR35, gig economy, and CIS issues.
  • Collaborating with litigation, corporate, and commercial colleagues to deliver sector-specific projects.
