Position Summary: General Sales Manager/General Manager We're looking for an experienced and driven leader to oversee our new and pre-owned vehicle sales departments. As General Sales Manager/General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving performance, mentoring your team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and lead sales department managers (new and used vehicles)
  • Set and track monthly and annual sales objectives and profitability goals
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for inventory, promotions, and advertising
  • Monitor performance metrics, commission structures, and team productivity
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and industry standards
  • Manage and maintain vehicle merchandising and showroom presentation
  • Conduct weekly sales training and meetings to drive ongoing development
  • Handle customer concerns and ensure high satisfaction levels
  • Collaborate with the Executive management team to continuously improve operations
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role within a dealership
  • Luxury automotive experience preferred
  • Strong background in team development, performance management, and sales operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership CRM/software tools
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
  • Deep understanding of federal, state, OSHA, and environmental regulations
  • Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening
