Shift: First (6:30am -3:00pm M-F)
Hourly wage: $25 - $30

Job Summary CNC Setup Operator III
As a CNC Setup Operator III, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes setting up, loading, and operating various CNC production machinery and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities CNC Setup Operator III
- Proficient in setting up and operating various production machines such as mills and lathes.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality, quantity, and customer standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on production machinery as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Mentor and train team members.
Requirements:
Required:
- 5+ years of combined formal training and experience, or equivalent.
- High School Diploma/ GED.
- Must have strong math skills, blueprint reading, and measuring tool experience (tape measures, calipers, micrometers).
- Experience programming or, at a minimum, the ability to apply minor adjustments to programs as needed while operating machines. (CNC Routers, CNC mills, CNC lathes, CNC Cutters - Master Cam, CAD)
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of GD&T.
- Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a custom manufacturing environment.
- Have participated in Quality problem-solving activities (Root Cause Analysis tools).
- Technical degree in machining.
CNC Setup Operator III Work Environment
- This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
- The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.
