Responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role requires a passion for coffee, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities Beverage Preparation:
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty drinks following company recipes and standards.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Customer Service:
• Greet customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Take customer orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve complaints promptly. Cash Handling:
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions accurately.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and tips responsibly. Store Maintenance:
• Ensure the workspace, counters, and equipment are clean and sanitized.
• Restock inventory, including coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times. Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with team members to ensure efficient service.
• Support coworkers during busy periods by multitasking and maintaining organization. Training and Development:
• Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing methods, and company procedures.
• Attend training sessions to improve skills and product knowledge. Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a coffee shop or similar environment is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
• Dexterity to operate equipment and perform tasks requiring repetitive motion. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a positive customer experience, has a passion for coffee, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. Compensation: $17.25 hourly
