Tasca Auto Group - Chevrolet Collision Center and a Local 701 employer is looking for an experienced collision shop tech to join our growing team in Wheeling.

Body Shop and Collision Technician Responsibilities
  • Work with Repair Planners to create an accurate repair plan for each vehicle
  • Perform body work specified on the shop order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
  • Communicate directly with the Body Shop Manager so that customers are informed if any additional work is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Repair collision damaged vehicles according to OEM specifications
  • Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer's perspective comes first
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Participate as a member of a team dedicated to exceeding customer expectations
Requirements
  • Previous body shop experience at an automotive dealership
  • I-Car Certified a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the service drive and body shop
  • Two (2) years of collision repair experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer competencies
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Able to operate equipment
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
  • Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug screen
