Body Shop and Collision Technician Responsibilities - Work with Repair Planners to create an accurate repair plan for each vehicle
- Perform body work specified on the shop order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
- Communicate directly with the Body Shop Manager so that customers are informed if any additional work is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Repair collision damaged vehicles according to OEM specifications
- Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer's perspective comes first
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Participate as a member of a team dedicated to exceeding customer expectations
Requirements- Previous body shop experience at an automotive dealership
- I-Car Certified a plus.
- Strong understanding of the service drive and body shop
- Two (2) years of collision repair experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate equipment
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
- Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug screen
