Role Description
TPMG is looking for an account manager who is eager to play a key role in expanding our portfolio of in-person live events. This sales manager will primarily focus on consultative exhibit and sponsorship sales in our live events platform: NFMT (National Facilities Management and Technology Conference). NFMT has been the leading brand in the facility market connecting buyers and sellers for over 20 years.
This position is primarily inside sales, with limited travel to TPMG and other industry trade show events. Responsibilties
- Plan, prioritize and manage sales activities to meet short- and long-term goals for multiple events
- Maintain and grow national territory through lead generation
- Direct one-on-one consultative selling
- Ability to build rapport, foster relationships and identify customer needs
- Travel to other trade show events to grow existing and new business
- Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of new prospects via Sales Force
- Maintain and update CRM daily and manage weekly projections
- Work in a team selling environment
- Gain in depth industry knowledge
Qualifications
- Strong business development / sales background
- 4-year degree or equivalent sales experience
- Minimum 3-5 years prior sales experience, B2B and tradeshow experience desired
- Detail-oriented
- Proficient with CRMs, forecasting tools, TEAMS, Office products
- Experience filling and managing pipeline
- Proven track record of success in exceeding quotas
- Proven track record of overcoming objections
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build and nurture client relationships
- Media experience a plus

(Total compensation package is $80,000-$100,000 including commission and bonus)
