Job Summary: Skills Competency. Evaluate patient physical and mental status in order to facilitate optimal rehabilitation. Education of the patient and implementation of exercise program to achieve goals.
Qualifications/Reporting:
Required minimum education: Bachelor of Science Degree
Required minimum experience: Minimum three to five years' experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation or Registered Nurse with three to five years cardiac rehabilitation experience.
Required skills (if applicable): Evaluates the physiological aspects and determines exercise program in order to facilitate achievement of optimal physical and mental reconditioning. Evaluates patient and detects risk factor for heart disease, provides patient education, and emotional support to facilitate the rehabilitation process. Documentation and reporting to patient's physician
Required license/certification: Current CPR and ACLS
