Primary Focus The Exercise Analyst provides support to the two primary directorates of the JOC, the AD-CS Directorate, and the Assistant Director (AD), Healthcare Operations (HCO) Directorate, and ultimately the Director of, the Defense Health Agency. The DHA JOC is the centerpiece for planning, coordination, and synchronization of daily operations in relation to combat medical support to the military departments and combatant commands, as well as healthcare operations within military treatment facilities (MTF) providing synergy for effective and efficient mission accomplishment in support of the DHA, Joint Staff (JS), Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Services and the Military Health System (MHS) enterprise. Responsibilities + The primary purpose of this position is to develop agency exercise plans for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) that integrate multiple, simultaneously occurring, and diverse events which will accurately evaluate mission performance sustainability. + Designs plans to aid in determining agency effectiveness and efficiency and through internal exercises and analyses. + Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree + 5-7 years of experience in education and training + 3 years operational experience at a combatant command where exercises were conducted + Exercise protocols joint ops experience; J7 COCOM relationships + Field grade Level officer + Secret Clearance required. + Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment Minimum Skills: + Must be experienced in Microsoft Office Suite of tools including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. + Broad expertise in research, analysis, and writing skills. + Ability to professionally interface with various levels of management. + Independent and proactive leadership skills + Experience in supporting a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and follow-up on actions. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + An ability to work well in teams or individually Reports to : Contract Manager Working Conditions + Professional office environment + Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time. + Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position. + Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace. + Must be able to work varying work schedules and/or extended hours to meet business needs and project deadlines including holidays. + May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
