Join JRC's Systems Engineering & Intergration Team. We are actively recruiting looking for an Executive Support Specialist to assist the Missile Technical Branch, Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) and their team in managing workflows to ensure efficient/effective program management, prioritizing daily deliverables, managing actions to maximize execution of weekly/monthly deadlines, overseeing integrated master scheduling, drafting executive correspondence, supply research analysis and providing database management. The Executive Support Specialist coordinates amongst branch stakeholders and program managers to track and produce deliverables for the branch head, as well as report on branch programmatic actions to senior leadership. You will review, edit, and assist in creating internal SSP documents related to the TRIDENT II weapons system, and coordinate related input and approval from government and industry partners. As the Executive Support Specialist, you will Develop a robust knowledge of SSP cultures and practices and will be the lead coordinator for high-level events for the branch and industry partners Execute high-level coordination efforts between the branch head, their engineering and program staff, and SSP leadership including SESs, assembling program updates and reporting materials as needed on behalf of the branch head Compose internal program status reporting on behalf of the branch Lead the branch in technical writing of Naval Correspondence, assist in creating, reviewing, and editing Ordnance Documents (ODs), Strategic Systems Programs Instructions (SSPINSTs), meeting minutes, memorandums, formal letters, technical documents, program briefings, and other documentation Lead weekly branch meetings, including drafting and editing presentations and providing status updates to the technical branches Assist the branch head in coordinating travel and interfacing with the Defense Travel System (DTS). What you bring to the table A bachelor's degree from an accredited university 3+ years of experience in project management, programmatic development and administrative excellence Demonstrated experience with the MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently with little oversight Bonus Points for Active DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level or have held and active clearance in good standing in the past 2 years Experience with the Department of the Navy Correspondence Manual and DoD Issuance Style Guide Previous experience supporting Department of the Navy programs in an analyst capacity
