ANNOUNCEMENT OF SERVICE VACANCY

POSITION: Executive Secretary/Federal Programs & Curriculum

LOCATION: Lewis County Board Office

QUALIFICATIONS As Per State and County Regulations, those currently employed or on the Secretary Substitute List will be given preference
& DUTIES:

School Secretary Performance Test must be taken and passed by all applicants not currently employed as a secretary
  1. Maintain Federal Program budgets
  2. Assist with curriculum needs
  3. Textbooks; (countywide) order, process, maintain inventory
  4. Maintain countywide student contest paperwork, order appropriate awards, medals and trophies; create all certificates
  5. Organize meetings
  6. Maintain P Card and reconcile monthly statement
  7. Proficient user of Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel
  8. Assist in developing and overseeing annual budget
  9. Must have strong fiscal knowledge including reading and interpreting budget reports, purchasing processes, financial coding and budget forecasting
  10. Maintain documentation for federal and state monitoring
  11. Must maintain a courteous and professional demeanor
  12. Adhere to strong confidentiality standards at all times
  13. Have strong communication skills
  14. Must have good organization and time management skills
  15. Other duties as assigned by Superintendent and/or supervisor

TERM: 240 Days

SCHEDULE: 8:00AM-4:00PM

SALARY: As provided in West Virginia Code 18A-4-8 and 18A-4-8a
