- Title: Administrative Assistant
Duties:
• Strong clerical and data entry skills.
• Respond to telephone inquiries from the public and other state agencies.
• Monitor the Bureau's shared email accounts for service documents and other documents for administrative processing.
• Input data into NYMatters and conduct research in NYMatters (case management database).
• Schedule meetings, appointments, and interviews in office and via different video conferencing platforms.
• Schedule depositions as requested by attorneys.
• Assist with purchase requests and expert requests. Maintain all associated records.
• Assist with the distribution of legal books and supplies.
• Prepare Tables of Contents and Tables of Authority for legal briefs.
• Assist with copying, scanning and redaction of legal papers.
• Access publicly available court records to obtain case status and documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a plus.
Preferred Education: High School, Technical Degree/Certificate Program
