Our client, a private investment group based in Forth Worth, TX has engaged us to place a professional, proactive, highly capable, self-directed & solutions oriented individual in the role of Executive/Personal Assistant (EPA)/Project Manager to the Owner. This is not a traditional EA/PA role, as the role's heavy focus is task/project management based and most projects are unique, often not to be repeated.

This is an independent, strategic role where the EPA will be a trusted, integral partner in the Owner's personal and professional life. If you thrive in a focused, independent work environment and prefer autonomy over office chatter, this may be the perfect opportunity. This is a dynamic role with a wide range of tasks, and a great opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment with a company culture that can be described as intellectual, analytical, team-oriented, and high-performing. If you're a quiet powerhouse who prefers action over small talk and excels in self-driven, high-trust roles, we'd love to hear from you. Business casual attire (jeans ok.).

Location: Southwest Fort Worth near I-20/Chisholm Trail

Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm with flexibility if the candidate prefers an earlier start time. Option to occasionally work from home when the Owner is out of the office. While there's minimal need/expectation for after hours/weekend support, flexibility is needed to receive communications outside of normal business hours, responding to urgent needs immediately, and prioritizing others accordingly (next business day, etc.), especially when the Owner is traveling or during peak business activity. Potential for some minimal domestic travel 1-2x/year.

Why This Role is Different:

  • You'll operate with a high level of freedom and trust, managing key responsibilities without constant oversight.
  • The work is varied, strategic, and impactful, requiring a blend of discretion, foresight and problem-solving.
  • Rather than rigid structures, the Owner values proactive thinking, efficiency, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, making things run smoothly with precision
  • A thoughtful, detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a low-drama, high-impact role
  • A person who prefers depth over distractions - this is not a social office, but rather an environment where you can own your work and make a real difference
  • A person with enough self-confidence to ask clarifying questions to the Owner and proactively seek out and identify tasks/projects that the Owner needs to delegate

What You'll Get:

  • Independence & Flexibility - While the role requires a 24/7 mindset, it also offers the ability to manage your own workflow.
  • Growth & Evolution - You won't be boxed in; this role adapts with you, allowing for long-term development in areas that interest you.
  • A Trusted Seat at the Table - You'll be a key force behind high-level decision-making, making an impact in ways few assistants ever do.

What You'll Do:

  • Solve Problems Proactively - Anticipate challenges, find solutions independently, and take initiative without waiting for instructions
  • Own Your Work - Manage a range of tasks from personal errands to high-level business operations, with full responsibility
  • Lead Projects - Take charge of ongoing and new initiatives, anticipate obstacles, and provide concise updates to keep things moving forward
  • Arrange Travel - Plan domestic and international trips, handling flights, accommodations, transportation and logistics with precision
  • Support & Collaborate - Work seamlessly with another executive assistant to ensure alignment and provide coverage when needed
  • Coordinate Events - Organize personal and professional gatherings, including holiday parties, business retreats, milestone celebrations

Who You Are:

  • A Self-Starter - You thrive on working independently and need minimal supervision
  • Direct & Concise - You communicate clearly and efficiently without fluff
  • Adaptable & Focused - You manage shifting priorities with ease and stay locked in on getting things done
  • Resilient & Solution-Oriented - You accept feedback professionally and use it to improve without taking things personally
  • Discreet & Professional - You're comfortable working with high-net-worth individuals and handling confidential matters
  • Available & Flexible - While this role offers independence and flexibility in your schedule, you're also willing to adjust to the Owner's schedule when needed.

Experience/Education:

  • 5+ years EA experience or similar role supporting executives in a high-performing environment; solid project management background; some PA support experience ideal.
  • Experience working in a small company is ideal.
  • Experience working in an investment firm or a similar sophisticated professional services environment is a plus.
  • Proficient in Google Suite & Microsoft Word, Excel; PowerPoint is not used often, but there's a need for the ability to build presentations & content for print etc. from scratch using PP, or tools like Canva, InDesign etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree ideal, but not required.

Compensation/Benefits:

  • Base salary: $100-$150k DOE
  • Benefits include: Medical 100% employer paid, 401(k), PTO (flex) + Paid Holidays & more
  • Company provided laptop
  • Additional perks: Breakfast/lunch catered daily, complimentary coffee/espresso & other beverages, company membership to CERA, and access to onsite gym in office building.
