Executive Personal Assistant to CEO, Leading International Marine Transshipment Company, Stamford, CT
The CEO of a well-established global marine transshipment service with offices all over the world is looking for a "right hand" Executive Personal Assistant to manage all things administrative (50% EA/50% PA). This is an exciting opportunity to work side by side with a CEO who has built the business to be a leader in his field through innovative solutions for its clients with a "never say no" attitude. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of experience supporting a C-suite executive and has an international worldly perspective. The ideal candidate is also a true problem solver, being able to accomplish projects with very little intervention (the CEO travels a great deal). The candidate must also be very detail-oriented and organized, who also understands the holistic approach to supporting an executive at this level with his personal and professional life This is a 5 days a week position in their new office in Stamford with flexibility to work from home when the CEO is traveling. The CEO usually travels roughly 2 weeks out of the month.
About the Job:
Support the CEO as a "right hand" with all day-to-day matters including managing an ever- changing calendar, personal and professional
Prioritize emails and craft responses on his behalf
Manage domestic/international travel arrangements, personal and professional with detailed itineraries
Interact with internal and external stakeholders and help prepare CEO for meetings including collateral materials and research
Attend meetings with the CEO, (local and video) as needed and follow-up on action items
Help manage multiple home properties
Plan events, dinners for internal and client meetings, personal and professional
Expense reporting
Ad hoc projects
Off hour availability via cell to the CEO, within reason
Some other personal work, run errands, update car registrations, etc

About You:
A minimum of 8 years of experience as an Executive Personal; Assistant supporting a high- level C-suite executive
Bachelor's Degree
Very detail oriented with the ability to change gears quickly; a problem solver who anticipates needs and works independently
High level of integrity and discretion in handling all confidential information; high emotional and intellectual intelligence
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills; experience managing a complex calendar with meetings in multiple time zones
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Some experience with some property management, preferably with multiple homes
A worldly perspective; someone who may be well traveled a plus
