Executive Office Administrative Support Macdill Air Force Base, Tampa, FL
The Executive Office Administrative Support assists the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands by serving within the command element task area. The position's primary mission involves assisting in directing executive level management and the required command and control actions for command-wide mission execution. The Executive Office Administrative Support directly supports services for MARCENT's Executive Office, Command Security Management Office, and Executive Office Analysis, including preparing and coordinating administrative support and operational tasks from both within and outside MARCENT to ensure the efficient execution of MARCENT OAMS tasks both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS). The Executive Office Administrative Support will perform the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide Executive Assistant proficiency level administrative support to the staff, including the coordination of travel orders, travel order generation, and coordination of preparatory and closing actions associated with Key Leader Engagements.
- Support the preparation and coordination of schedules, drafting of correspondence documents, and assisting in the coordination of operational tasks from within and outside MARCENT.
- Directly support MARCENT's Chief of Staff.
EDUCATION - HS diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE - Minimum ten years of military experience.
- Experience providing high-level administrative support, preferably within a military or government environment.
- Experience supporting executive-level management, including handling confidential information, coordinating high-profile engagements, and managing travel arrangements.
- Experience in supporting and coordinating operational tasks across various departments or organizations.

- Proficient in providing high-level executive support, including managing schedules, drafting correspondence, and coordinating key engagements.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all administrative tasks and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Advanced proficiency with groupware applications (SharePoint, MS Teams) and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.) desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills desired.
WORKING CONDITIONS - Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS - Travel is required.
- Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company's auto insurance provider.
SECURITY CLEARANCE - A Secret clearance is required for this position.
