We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly experienced full time Senior/Executive Medical Director to join our Clinical Development Team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic leader to apply their extensive medical and clinical development expertise in a fast-paced and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in clinical development, a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, and the ability to execute high-level strategies.

Responsibilities:

As the Executive Medical Director, you will:

1. Lead and oversee the design, execution, and interpretation of clinical trials and development programs.
2. Provide strategic medical input into the development of clinical development plans and study designs.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of clinical strategies with business objectives.
4. Identify and evaluate potential clinical development opportunities and risks.
5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in all clinical development activities.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, regulatory authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.
7. Provide medical expertise in the interpretation of data from ongoing and completed studies.
8. Lead the preparation and review of regulatory documents, clinical study reports, and other clinical documents.
9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the clinical development team.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. An MD with 12+ years of experience in clinical development, ideally in neuroscience and/or rare diseases.
2. Proven leadership experience in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.
3. Extensive knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to clinical development.
4. Demonstrated ability to design and execute clinical trials and development programs.
5. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
7. A track record of successfully navigating complex, ambiguous situations and driving results.
8. A commitment to ethical conduct, patient safety, and data integrity.
