Samaritan Healthcare is searching for an Executive Director of Clinics to join our team. The Executive Director of Clinics provides executive leadership in an administrative / physician dyad leadership model with responsibilities for Samaritan Clinics. This role will provide ongoing management for the medical office space and other contractual relationships between providers/provider groups. This position will work collaboratively with other Samaritan leaders on the recruitment and retention of Physicians and other providers. The Executive Director of Clinics will be responsible for collaborating and achieving balanced scorecard strategic objectives, measures, and initiatives aligned with their areas of responsibility under the leadership of the Chief of Ambulatory Services.

This is a full-time exempt salary position.

    2. Responsible for reporting audit goals, resource management and fiscal stewardship, maximization of productivity and cost containment, revenue generating opportunities, and monthly operational review.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (not limited to):

  1. Education:
    1. Bachelor's degree in relevant field, such as business, health care, marketing or communications.
    2. Master s Degree in health care administration, business administration, public administration, or other pertinent field (preferred but not required).
  2. Experience:
    1. Minimum 10 years' experience in ambulatory medical services management and/or physician practice management. Multiple specialty medical practice experience preferred.
    2. Minimum 10 years' experience in management and supervisory leadership.
  3. Skills:
    1. Knowledge of physician practice financial administration and payor reimbursement.
    2. Skill in project planning and management ad ability to oversee and coordinate various projects and activities concurrently.
    3. Ability to formulate and carry out operational plans for physician practices.
    4. Knowledge of legal issues relating to physician-owned practices and employed physicians.
    5. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external. Sound conflict management skills.
    6. Demonstrates competency on equipment listed on department specific checklist.
    7. Ability to demonstrate superior presentation skills.
    8. Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, analytical and process improvement skills.
    9. Ability to handle highly confidential data required.
    10. Exercises sound judgement in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
    11. Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Occasional prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting, reaching, kneeling, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling.
  2. Mild physical effort, lift/carry up to 25+ lbs.
  3. Good reading eyesight; full visual acuity, depth perception, and color perception.
  4. Ability to communicate using verbal and/or written skills for accurate exchange of information with physicians, nurses, health care professionals, patients and/or family, and the public.
